Living in a climate where beanies are more useful for activities such as dusting and holding many small fruits for picnics, it was a strange conundrum to buy one.
There were many stages in the purchase of a 'head warmer'!
Is it going to be warm enough? Does it cover your ears properly? Is it reasonably priced? Is it cool? Will I get bored wearing the same head piece for over four weeks? Is the price to coolness ration acceptable?
I can proudly say I accomplished this task on my recent time in the United States. It was unseasonably warm there, however, to me it was particularly cold...
I bought a plethora of beanies to satisfy my daily needs. Some were very warm, a little more dressy and a couple were just a bit ridiculous.... Please see as follows!
Elmo in Chicago!
Burt at Liberty!
Rabbit fur in NYC!
A Koala (how could I not?!)!
And a beret for good times!
I am glad my little summer acclimatised body withstood the test of an American winter, although Chicago was a bit touch and go there....
